Effective Communication

This highly-interactive program is tailored to the needs of your managers.  You have the power to increase the receptivity, responsiveness and accountability of your direct reports; to maximize results and minimize turnover and time spent addressing interpersonal rifts.  You will expand and develop your options for responding to situations you find most challenging.  This program may be combined with either an EQ Map® or Peoplemap™ assessment to further target areas for development.  With one to three follow-up sessions - at 21-day intervals - we reinforce skill building to ensure effective outcomes.

 

Mentor the Mentor/Coach the Coach

New hires and younger workers benefit greatly from the mentorship of more seasoned employees. Successful supervisors are able to coach direct reports for best performance. The effectiveness of the mentorship and coaching are greatly enhanced when mentors and supervisors have specific training in certain crucial coaching skills. Through this highly-interactive training I give participants the tools they need to become better listeners, respond more effectively, and positively challenge their mentees. With one to three follow-up sessions - at 21-day intervals - we reinforce skill building to ensure effective outcomes.

Giving Effective Feedback cess Ivest in Success

The ability to provide feedback the receiver is able to hear and benefit from is essential for management and business success.   An effective feedback process begins with establishment of the reporting relationship, and encompasses a number of specific characteristics.  This experiential training offers participants the opportunity to identify and address feedback-related challenges, and develop the tools they need to overcome these challenges.

EQ Map®

I use the EQ Map® to help my clients develop the capacities, values, and attitudes that comprise emotional intelligence, to become more effective and productive at work. The EQ Map® is a statistically validated and reliable self-administered assessment of the capacities that constitute emotional intelligence, as well as the values and attitudes which support those capacities. Unlike other EQ assessments, the EQ Map® also assesses:

Peoplemap™

I utilize the Peoplemap™ to provide information for supervisors and supervisees, to increase understanding of any differences in work and personal styles, and develop strategies to leverage those differences for greater success. Peoplemap™ is a brief questionnaire that has a 95% accuracy rate in measuring four core personality types. These types are associated with certain strengths, and with one or more Achilles Heels that can undermine success in work and interpersonal relationships.
